Urgent symptoms

If the patient has severe pain, trouble breathing, sudden weakness, bleeding, loss of consciousness, fever during treatment, or other urgent symptoms, contact local emergency services immediately.

Unstable travel situation

Whether a patient can safely fly or travel must be assessed by qualified clinicians who know the patient's condition. Coordinators must not make that judgment.

Incomplete authorization

If a family member or representative cannot confirm authorization to act for the patient, the service should not proceed with detailed record handling.

Unrealistic expectations

The service cannot promise hospital acceptance, treatment availability, cost, timeline, or outcome. It organizes information and coordinates the next appropriate review step.
